FDG PET/CT images (a–c) showed a non-avid lung nodule. MIP, trans-axial CT, PET, and fused PET/CT images (d–g) show mild focal [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-TATE uptake (SUVmax 1.9) in right lower lobe nodule (black filled arrows). Post-surgery histological diagnosis was typical bronchial carcinoid secreting ACTH. After surgery Cushing’s symptoms is cured.
