ML arises from the interaction of computer science and statistics in the way that conventional research approaches incorporate statistics and subject matter expertise. In the near future the integration of software development, expert matter research and ML will lead to powerful task-oriented artificial intelligence to aid in the diagnostic and prognostic evaluation of cardiovascular patients.
